摘要: The growth of vehicle population demands automated, secure, and reliable identification systems to address many complex problems such as Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system, Vehicle Registration (EVR), Traffic monitoring law enforcement applications, border or security gates parking access in an urban environment. Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) is a key component Identification (AVI) system generally, it uses wall-mounted CCTV camera with high-end backend computer. However, identifying using smartphone combining the geographical metadata allows more correlate positional frequency on potential incidents. objective this research paper introduce application which runs mobile devices smartphones, tablet PCs identify Sri Lankan vehicles' front numbers plate characters digital format image Histogram manipulation, Morphological operations, Edge detection techniques, segmentation.
