摘要: A quasi-experimental design is used in this study to evaluate the "Entre Nous Jeunes" peer-educator program promote STI/HIV-preventive behaviors Nkongsamba, Cameroon. The main objective of assess whether young people exposed a peer educator gained greater knowledge and practiced more protective than did those control community who were not exposed. During 18-month intervention period, educators able reach large number people, specifically sexually experienced need reproductive health information. Multivariate analyses indicate that contact with statistically significantly associated spontaneous modern contraception, symptoms transmitted infections, use contraceptives, including condom. In absence peer-education program, current contraceptive would have been lower.
