摘要: One determinant of navigation concerns the ability to use landmarks. However, despite wide acceptance concept landmarks, there is considerable debate as what meant by term ‘landmark’ and how landmarks are used assist in navigation. Sorrows Hirtle [30] introduced a tripartite theory that can be applied humans real electronic spaces. Their approach was classify along three dimensions: visual, semantic, structural. These dimensions defined independently for physical space spaces, such World Wide Web. It argued this paper, same framework extended robot navigation, but with realization appearing quite different robotics world. The landmark remains fundamental provide theoretical bridge between scientific camps researchers.
