Phytotherapy of Diabetes in West Algeria

摘要: Medicinal plants have been used since remote times infolk medicine and they are now a part of the people inheritage.Through North African countries, todays folk has beenboosted as consequence hard economic conditions. Becauseof its geographical situation, climate soil composition,Tlemcen's region offers wide variety flowers.The frequent usage medicinal in Tlemcen'sregion by diabetics prompted us development theseplants. This induced to set up traditional hypoglycaemicplants sample survey with view setting forth benefitthey could bring about for patients affected diabetes. Theresults gathered from 634 inquiry forms (435 women and199 men) were separated into two groups: usingmedicinal (62 %) using industrial hypoglycaemicmedicines (38 %). Those results showed that phytotherapywas widely adopted west Algerian society. The surveyundertaken allowed observe more than 58 plantswere care diabetes which mostused
