Mode of Administration of LittlEARS® (MED-EL) Auditory Questionnaire (LEAQ) as a Screening Tool in Ghana: Are there any differences in final test scores between “Self Administration” and “Interview”?

摘要: The mode of administration LittlEARS ® Auditory Questionnaire (LEAQ) in Ghana, where a Universal Newborn Hearing Screening (UNHS) has not been implemented and addition about 31% adults have never to school was investigated. original LEAQ English version adapted into three Akan (Ghanaian) languages using the translation/back-translation procedure recommended by International Test Commission validated data collected for N= 402 children. effect however, investigated collecting from N=152 respondents. Our results show that it does make any difference terms scores whether questionnaire administered via interview or self - administration.  Results study support position is an appropriate screening tool children living developing countries adult illiteracy rates are high.
