Sonochemically assisted synthesis and application of hollow spheres, hollow prism, and coralline-like ZnO nanophotocatalyst

摘要: Nanosheet-based microspheres of ZnO with hierarchical structures, hollow prism, and coralline-like nanostructures were successfully prepared by ultrasonic irradiation in acidic ionic liquids (AILs). The spherical is made up many thin petals, the thickness which only about 90 nm. In presence AIL2, one at a frequency 40 kHz mixture nanofibers diameters ranging from less than 30 nm to 100 nanostructure (with AIL1) reveals lozenge-shape prism structures. products structure covered some nanometric-size nanoparticles. average size nanoparticles range 40–80 It found that time, frequency, AILs influence growth mechanism optical properties nanostructures. Producing Zno different traditional methods (e.g., hydrothermal method) requires basic media. These are not economical environmentally friendly industrial processes. so doing, critical problem has been point that, normally, high concentration base causes reactor metal corrosion. This simple low-cost method, can be expected applied industry future. Also, importantly, structures synthesized this experiment indicate new way construct nanodevices self-organization step.
