Factors associated with orthodontic treatment seeking by 12–15‐year‐old children at a state university‐funded clinic

摘要: AbstractObjectives: To investigate the interrelationships between factors involved in orthodontic treatment seeking by children aged 12–15 years.Setting: State funded clinic at Faculty of Dentistry Rio de Janeiro University (UERJ), Janeiro, Brazil, and a nearby public school.Subjects methods: One hundred ninety‐four adolescents 12–15 years took part study; 92 had sought UERJ (orthodontic group) 102 were from school never undergone or (comparison group).
