摘要: This study is a geographically systematic genetic survey of the easternmost subspecies chimpanzee, Pan troglodytes schweinfurthii. DNA was noninvasively collected in form shed hair from chimpanzees known origin Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zaire. Two hundred sixty-two sequences hypervariable region 1 which mitochondrial control were generated. Eastern display levels variation are low similar to observed humans (Homo sapiens). Also like humans, between 80% 90% variability within eastern apportioned populations. Spatial autocorrelation analysis shows that similarity decreases clinically with distance, pattern remarkably one seen for separated by equivalent geographic distances. chimpanzee mismatch distributions (frequency pairwise differences individuals) shape those implying population histories recent demographic expansion. The overall consistent hypothesis subject has responded demographically paleoclimatically driven changes distribution African forests during Pleistocene.
