摘要: Abstract There is a growing interest among scientists about climate change and its adverse effects. One of the major effects sea level rise (SLR), which will cause habitat loss for many species threaten their survival. Sea turtles are an example animal groups most likely to be threatened by SLR. It is, therefore, critical predict effect SLR on turtle habitats prepare better conservation management plans that consider impact. With this aim, we projected outcomes nest one important Mediterranean green ( Chelonia mydas ) nesting beaches (Samandag, Turkey) using natural nests between 2008 2016 seasons. Under extreme scenario (1.2 m SLR) one-third coastal area up 18% could lost at key beach globally unique population.
