摘要: Free insulin cannot cross the placenta but complexed to anti-insulin antibodies has been demonstrated in cord blood. We studied whether antibody-bound diabetic patients can evoke fetal macrosomia independently of maternal metabolic control. In 457 non insulin-treated controls and 173 we measured 1187 antibody levels blood glucose, fructosamine, insulin, C-peptide, fructosamine amniotic fluid insulin. Mean were significantly higher treated (4.6 5.4 U/ml) than (1.8 1.7 with maxima 89.2 120.0 U/ml blood, respectively. 16.6% (maternal blood) 22% (cord above 97th percentile. There was a high significant correlation between (R = 0.987, P < 0.0001), no (glucose, fructosamine) or (insulin, insulin) parameters. While parameters correlated birth weight neither nor weight. These findings do not support hypothesis that influence
