摘要: Background Problem-oriented electronic health record (EHR) systems can help physicians to track a patient's status and progress, organize clinical documentation, which could improving quality of data enable reuse. The problem list is central in problem-oriented medical record. However, current lists remain incomplete because the lack end-user training inaccurate content underlying terminologies. This leads modifications diagnosis code descriptions use free-text notes, limiting reuse data. Objectives We aimed investigate factors that influence acceptance actual list, used these propose recommendations, increase value for (re)use. Methods Semistructured interviews were conducted with physicians, heads departments, experts, who invited through snowball sampling. transcribed coded. Comments fitted constructs validated framework unified theory user technology (UTAUT), discussed terms facilitators barriers. Results In total, 24 conducted. We found large variability attitudes toward use. Barriers included uncertainty about responsibility maintaining little perceived benefits. Facilitators (re)design policies, improved (peer-to-peer) motivation, positive peer feedback monitoring. Motivation best increased sharing benefits relevant care process, such as providing overview, timely generation discharge or referral letters, Furthermore, terminology should be better presented EHR system. Conclusion To let accept policies guidelines redesigned, prioritized by supervising staff. Additionally, peer-to-peer on using needed.
