摘要: Clinically nonfunctioning pituitary adenomas are one of the most common types tumors. Unless they present with symptoms related to local mass effect, tumors detected incidentally when imaging studies performed for other reasons. Although clinically nonfunctioning, these have evidence, in vitro, gonadotropin hormone or glycoprotein subunit production. The gonadotropins their monomer submits rarely cause identifiable effects. When as macroadenomas, often associated effect and hypopituitarism, primary therapy is neurosurgery. role medical will be reviewed here.
