摘要: GSM is the most popular standard for wireless cellular networks with 3 billion handsets in use worldwide. One of critical components architecture authentication protocol. The current protocol has several drawbacks such as one-way entity authentication, memory overhead VLR and bandwidth consumption between HLR VLR. Several solutions have been proposed to establish mutual improve performance. However, they either cannot provide flaw-free bilateral or impose more networks. In this paper, we propose a novel based on symmetric polynomials. Each MS allocated share polynomial during initial authentication. subsequent requests, authenticate each other using polynomial. solution not only provides secure but also decreases required connection bandwidth.
