摘要: The paper addresses the stability of co-authorship networks in time. analysis is done on Slovenian researchers two time periods (1991-2000 and 2001-2010). Two are linked if they published at least one scientific bibliographic unit a given period. As proposed by Kronegger et al. (2011), global network structures examined generalized blockmodeling with assumed multi-core--semi-periphery--periphery blockmodel type. term core denotes group who together systematic way each other. The obtained blockmodels comprehensively analyzed visualizations through considering several statistics regarding structure. To measure blockmodels, different adjusted modified Rand Wallace indices applied. Those enable to distinguish between splitting merging cores when operationalizing cores. Also, can be used new occur second period (newcomers) some no longer present (departures). research disciplines described clustered according values these indices. Considering clusters, sources instability studied (e.g., or cores, newcomers departures). Furthermore, differences level linear regression where personal characteristics age, gender), also considered.
