Prevalence of sexual dysfunctions: results from a decade of research.

摘要: Ten years of research that has provided data regarding the prevalence sexual dysfunctions is reviewed. A thorough review literature identified 52 studies published in 10 since an earlier by Spector and Carey (Arch. Sex. Behav. 19(4): 389–408, 1990). Community samples indicate a current 0%–3% for male orgasmic disorder, 0%–5% erectile hypoactive desire disorder. Pooling 1-year figures provides community estimates 7%–10% female disorder 4%–5% premature ejaculation. Stable other remain unavailable. Prevalence obtained from primary care sexuality clinic are characteristically higher. Although relatively large number been conducted review, lack methodological rigor many limits confidence can be placed these findings.
