Superparamagnetic core–shell radical polymer brush as efficient catalyst for oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes and ketones

摘要: Nitroxide polymer brush grafted on superparamagnetic nanoparticles has been synthesized. Using the as a catalyst, conversion by catalytic oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes and ketones is more than 99%. The catalyst can be easily recovered applying magnetic field. Furthermore, reused still maintain high performance in oxidation.
