摘要: The design and synthesis of a series zwitterionic ionic liquids (ZILs) to understand the structure-property relationship towards an increase thermal stability, variation glass transition temperature, shape-tuning nanostructured aggregates tuning stimuli responsiveness are demonstrated. substitution reaction imidazole with various aliphatic aromatic bromides followed by corresponding substituted imidazoles bromoalkyl carboxylic acids varying spacer length produces ZILs. In aqueous solution, ZIL molecule either exist in its liquid (substituted imidazolium bromide) form or alkyl carboxylate) isoelectric point (pI) depending on pH value solution. Upon changing near above pI, solution undergoes from transparent turbid phase due formation insoluble hierarchical morphologies, such as spheres, tripods, tetrapods, fern-like, flower-like, dendrites etc. nature alkyl/vinyl/aryl substituents. heating occurs transparent, exhibiting distinct reversible upper critical temperature (UCST)-type cloud (Tcp ).
