摘要: Abstract An age-related resistance to Trichostrongylus colubriformis was demonstrated in a cross-bred strain of New Zealand rabbits. At postmortem examination, 12 days after infection, consistently high proportion (64 ± 13%) the infecting dose recovered as immature adults from rabbits infected at 7.5 weeks age with either 6000 or 15,000 infective larvae. A much lower and more variable (21 21%) initially larvae 17.5 age. In latter case small number fourth-stage were usually present. The older animals may have comprised two groups, one group being resistant infection than those other.
