摘要: Since the closure of Red Cross refugee reception centre in Sangatte, undocumented migrants Calais hoping to cross border Britain have been forced take refuge a number squatted migrant camps, locally known by all as ‘the jungles.’ Unauthorised shanty-like residences built themselves, living conditions camps are very poor. In June 2009, European ‘noborder’ activists set up week-long protest camp area with intention confronting authorities over their treatment migrants. this article, we analyse 2009 noborder an instance ‘immigrant protest.’ Drawing on ethnographic materials and Jacques Ranciere's work politics aesthetics, construct typology forms control through which different ways were staged, performed policed. Developing critique policing practices threatened make immigrant ‘impossible’, highlight moments which, affirmation ‘axiomatic’ equality, disrupted disarticulated borders between citizens non-citizens, political non-political.
