Information Processing in Healthcare at the Start of the third Millennium: Potential and Limitations

摘要: The 21st century is said to be a of the information society. We should aware that continuing progress in processing methodology (IPM) and communication technology (ICT) changing our societies, including medicine health care. At start third Millennium we ask ourselves, what can expect from modern IPM/ICT for healthcare coming decade, concerns does society have face, steps taken. These questions were addressed by clinicians, researchers industrial representatives panel discussion at joint conference ISCB-GMDS-99 International Society Clinical Biostatistics German Medical Informatics, Biometry Epidemiology.
