摘要: The paper studies the two-dimensional roller-type viscous micropumps design problem using a level set based topology optimization method. flow in is considered as non-Newtonian approximated by power-law constitutive model. objective to minimize dissipation and maximize rate subject area constraint. Topology of several numerically investigated presented results show that (1) optimal long micropump has higher rate; (2) short with different rates can achieve lower dissipations; (3) fluid bigger index wider gap on top rotor accommodate rate.
