On the reduction of the dark current of photomultipliers

摘要: Two methods are used for reducing the rate of dark current pulses photomultipliers; reduction is equivalent to a cooling about 100° C. The two are: sensitive area photocathode and application suitable shield potential layer on outer surface envelope. In course investigation effect stability conditions multiplier pulse height distribution were studied.
