摘要: Purpose of review To provide an update on current management retinoblastoma Recent findings The major treatment strategies for involve enucleation, intravenous chemoreduction, and intra-arterial chemotherapy. Enucleation is reserved eyes with extensive retinoblastoma, in which there no hope useful vision. Newer implants following enucleation allow excellent cosmetic motility outcome. Intravenous chemoreduction has been popular nearly two decades continues to favorable tumor control most classified as groups A, B, or C some D eyes, using the International Classification Retinoblastoma. Using apparent reduction incidence pinealoblastoma children germline mutation retinoblastoma. Intra-arterial chemotherapy involves single-agent injection into ophthalmic artery under careful neurointerventional guidance. This recently popularized therapy can be that fail standard treatments a primary treatment. Short-term results are but longer follow-up warranted. Summary Progress made past few years better implants, chemoreduction-prevention control, we face modality caution hope.
