摘要: Abstract : This literature review, one of eight commissioned by the Special Assistant to Deputy Secretary Defense for Gulf War Illnesses, summarizes existing scientific on health effects stress that may have affected military personnel who served in Operations Desert Shield and Storm. The RAND reviews are intended complement efforts Department other federal agencies their attempt understand full range implications service conflict. Many veterans reported an array physical mental complaints since war. Whether experiencing either higher than expected rates identifiable illnesses with known etiologies or from unidentified origins is not yet clear.
