摘要: Abstract Background There is a paucity of data that demonstrates clinical impact anatomical measurements the aortic annulus by three-dimensional (3D) transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) on surgical valve replacement (AVR). The aim this study to validate accuracy 3D TEE compared with direct intraoperative annular diameter and investigate an prediction AVR enlargement (AAE). Methods results We retrospectively enrolled 61 patients who underwent both two-dimension (2D) transthoracic (TTE) before AVR. diameters were measured noninvasively 2D (D2D) TTE (DTTE) in classical manner area- perimeter-derived (Darea, Dperim) from using analysis. Intraoperative was manufacture's sizer (Dintraope). Darea showed best agreement Dintraope Bland–Altman Darea, Dperim, D2D, DTTE correlated well (r = 0.821, 0.820, 0.532, 0.610, respectively; all p Conclusions measurement better than measurements. could predict AAE more accurately
