Whole-of-society approach for public health policymaking: a case study of polycentric governance from Quebec, Canada.

摘要: In adopting a whole-of-society (WoS) approach that engages multiple stakeholders in public health policies across contexts, the authors propose effective governance presents challenge. The purpose of this paper is to highlight case for how polycentric underlying WoS already functioning, while outlining an agenda enable adaptive learning improving such processes. Drawing upon study from Quebec, Canada, we employ empirically developed concepts extensive, decades-long work 2009 Nobel laureate Elinor Ostrom policy nonhealth domains analyze early efforts at around overnutrition, highlighting interactions between international, domestic, state and nonstate actors Using information primary secondary sources, emergence broader context Quebec's system 20th century.
