摘要: Natural infections of mammals with African trypanosomes, such as Trypanosoma brucei, are generally pleomorphic, the population consisting different forms, termed slender and stumpy that vary in number parasitaemia develops. We show differentiation into forms is characterized by acquisition parasite ability to regulate its internal pH, even face a large, inwardly directed gradient H+, well tolerance towards external proteolytic stress. These adaptations effectively abbrogate cellular stress-activated signalling pathways involving adenylate cyclase glycosylphosphoinositol-specific phospholipase-C mediated release surface coat. Although metabolic terms considered be preadapted life arthropod vector, these data clearly demonstrate also possess additional designed deal immediate potentially harmful changes extracellular environment occur upon ingestion bloodmeal tsetse fly vector.
