摘要: 3 Abstract: It was estimated the population density of white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus), in State Park General Lazaro Cardenas del Rio "Flor Bosque", Puebla, Mexico. This Natural Protected Area (NPA) presents three vegetation types: oak forest, mixed forest and scrub-grassland. The methodology used, count groups indirect fecal excreta transects 500 m long six wide, two for each type existing vegetation. Absolute densities (PD) were obtained 36.03 to 40.6 dry season rainy respectively. For relative PD results between 5.64 6.35 deers/km , corresponding 17.73 15.74 2 ha/deer by vegetative type, showed increased presence with 19.4 individuals, 5.35 individuals/km . statistical
