摘要: Radar sensors are widely used in automotive on-board systems such as adaptive cruise control, which tracks the preceding vehicle and keeps a safe distance. The authors go step further exploit potential of high resolution radar sensor for estimation road borders reconstruction traffic scenario based on object tracking. A FMCW millimetre wave is mounted front bumper delivers lists to central fusion processor, where detections considered measurements an integrated model border system. algorithm presented designed improve prediction paths trajectories ego-vehicle future enhanced collision warning avoidance systems. Given characteristics limitations system, heavy clutter, algorithms tested with real data perform reliably highway extra-urban scenarios competitive stereo vision systems, but lower computational load.
