Methods of Computing Area 1

摘要: The methods of computing area from maps are classified under two categories: 1) bounded and 2) weighted sub-areas. Pioneering planimeter, coordinate squares, triangular rule, trapezoidal Simpson's double-meridian-distance, coordinates, digitizer compared with the newly introduced weighing technique finite segments, also a recently developed Monte Carlo process. results indicate that segments relatively easy to use in laboratory computerized procedure, respectively; method is more applicable powerful than other methods.
