摘要: Collagens mediate essential hemostasis by maintaining the integrity and stability of vascular wall. Imbalanced turnover collagens uncontrolled formation and/or degradation may result in pathologic conditions such as fibrosis. Thickening vessel wall because accumulation lead to arterial occlusion or thrombosis. Thinning collagen deficiency rupture aneurysm. Preventing excessive hemorrhage thrombosis relies on collagen-mediated actions. Von Willebrand factor, integrins glycoprotein VI, well clotting factors, can bind restore normal after trauma. This review outlines roles mediating hemostasis, with a focus types I, III, IV, XV, XVIII.
