摘要: Abstract Surface ablation of cobalt cemented tungsten carbide hardmetal with pulsed UV laser has been in situ diagnosed by using the technique laser-induced optical emission spectroscopy. The dependence intensity lines on number shots was investigated at fluence 2.5 J/cm2. As a comparison, reliance as function pulse pure sample also studied same condition. It found that for surface 2.5 J/cm2, intensities fell off dramatically first 300 consecutive and then slowed down to low stable level even more shots. For condition, remained constant or less after 500 reduced very slowly concluded selective evaporation this should be responsible dramatic fall-off accumulation hardmetal. In contrast, cobalt, slow reduction due formation crater effect.
