摘要: Abstract This research explores the relationship between technology scale, energy security and decarbonisation within UK system. There is considerable uncertainty about how best to deliver on these goals for policy, but a focus supply chains their resilience can provide useful insights into problems causes. Technology scale central this, through an analysis of nuclear power solar photovoltaics, it suggested that smaller technologies are more likely support enable secure, low carbon transition. because less complex, show flexibility adaptability, quickly respond changes system, as such they resilient than large technologies. These characteristics become increasingly important in rapidly changing prioritising those demonstrate resilience, adaptability will better transition rapid, sustainable, secure affordable.
