摘要: This article offers an introduction to the literature on convenience foods as a growing phenomenon within contemporary lifestyles and emerging interest practices in sustainable food consumption. Various factors influence use of foods, including time availability, values related health natural environment, well cooking skills. Some these also feature choices behaviours consumption; although other such knowledge, labelling belief ones own potential positive impact play role. The importance education for consumption key strategy improving individual planetary wellbeing is outlined link with Home Economics literacy particularly explained. Building literature, discipline’s aims practical application, suggestions are presented how educational initiatives can facilitate preparation, whilst keeping mind principles
