The influence of comorbid chronic physical conditions on depression recognition in primary care: a systematic review.

摘要: Abstract Objective People with depression often suffer from comorbid chronic physical conditions and such are widely believed to interfere primary care providers' ability recognize their depression. We aimed examine the evidence related influence of comorbidity burden on recognition in routine, community-based settings. Methods conducted a systematic review literature that featured comparisons between patient groups higher lower burdens comorbidity. Medline, Embase, PsycINFO, CINAHL Cochrane Central Register Controlled Trials were searched inception July 2013. Reference list reverse citation searches also performed. A narrative synthesis was given clinical methodological heterogeneity studies. Results Our search identified 5817 unique citations, out which we 13 studies reporting data relationship care.
