摘要: Selfed and backcross progenies developed from tetraploid somatic hybrids between Solanum tuberosum (tbr) S. commersonii (cmm) were characterized for nonacclimated freezing tolerance (NA) acclimation capacity (ACC) (two independent genetic components of tolerance) under controlled environments. The segregation covered 28% 71% the parental range NA ACC, respectively, with distribution skewed toward tbr parent. Therefore, ACC appeared to be relatively easier recover in segregating generation. Some first progeny had greater than cultivated parent primarily through increase ACC. When grown field, improved observed selfed conditions was confirmed. Among NA, after (AA, which is cumulative performance ACC), AA exhibited highest correlation coefficient field frost tolerance. In addition tolerance, vine maturity tuber traits including yield, number per plant, mean weight, specific gravity also segregating. No significant undesirable detected. Vine significantly correlated, so more careful selection earliness necessary incorporating Yield comparable or superior Wis AG 231 an early Canadian cultivar, ‘Sable’, found many some progeny. high yield can attributed weight as well number.
