摘要: ABSTRACT Molten salt electrolysis is the most practical method for preparation of light metal. Due to density lithium metal lower than molten that float on surface salt. So it necessary collected by means special way. This study would design and manufacture a fused system, inspect possibility molt preparation. In addition, operating characteristics was discussed current density, Cathode-Anode gap some effect factors. The electrolytic system consisted three parts, collector chamber, an cell absorption off-gas. chamber located inside cell. Both were heated furnace. Lithium formed in steel cathode after reaction. As liquid metallic formed, passed through riser pipe discharged into chamber. other end, chlorine gas from graphite anode neutralized with 15 % sodium hydroxide solution system. results experiment showed could be prepared melt composition 60 chloride mixed 40 potassium eutectic mixture at temperature range 420 – 550 °C. efficiency reached 71 %.
