摘要: Myogenic differentiation can be initiated by a limited number of molecules. In this work, we analyzed the function homeobox gene Lbx1 in chicken embryos and explant cultures. We demonstrate that overexpression vivo vitro leads to strong activation various muscle markers. show cell proliferation, which is strongly stimulated Pax3, required for Lbx1- or Pax3-dependent myogenic activation. Inhibition proliferation prevents expression markers, while other putative downstream targets Pax3 not affected. Our findings imply critical during formation enlargement populations. The growth precursor population may increase bias thus enable cells respond environmental cues.
