摘要: The trends of malformation prevalence in embryos dab, Limanda limanda, the southern North Sea after year 1990 mirrored drop major pollutants rivers draining into German Bight. Despite this general decline, we detected a pollution event winter 1995/1996 employing malformations pelagic dab as an indicator. An abrupt rise corresponded to dramatic increase DDT levels parent fish from same area, indicating hitherto unnoticed introduction considerable quantities system.
