摘要: Abstract A rapid-tuning, frequency-doubled ring dye laser was used to make fully-resolved lineshape measurements of OH generated behind reflected shock waves in H 2 -O -Ar and -N mixtures. Values the collisional linewidth were deduced by fitting observed lineshapes Voigt profiles. Lines corresponding transitions with lower-state rotational quantum numbers ranging from 1.5 17.5 ∑ + - X Π (0,0) band near 307 nm probed order evaluate a possible J ″-dependence broadening. The temperature range investigated 1400–4100 K. broadening parameter, 2γ, measured at fixed did not exhibit strong dependence on number for either Ar or N . 2γ specific ″-values fit power law an average value exponent 0.8 both species.
