摘要: Background The aim of the present case-control study was to evaluate relationships between eating disorder (ED) psychopathology and two different religious orientations: intrinsic extrinsic. Methods Twenty-three anorexia nervosa, 10 bulimia nervosa 39 binge patients were compared with 72 healthy control subjects, using Religious Orientation Scale (ROS). Results ED showed higher scores on extrinsic subscale lower religiousness controls. No significant differences observed groups in terms ROS scores. Conclusions Higher associated presence ED, whereas may represent a protective factor.
