摘要: Previous work has presented kinetics of pure surfactin adsorption onto activated carbon. Being an efficient biosurfactant, the lipopeptide been produced in a bioprocess supported by strain Bacillus subtilis ATCC 21332. This is aimed at studying recovery directly from culture medium. A thermodynamic study carried out. Referring to capacity, confirmed that exothermic process. The capacity media shows carbon could be used as adsorbent for integrated importance temperature process control. Aimed fixed bed column design, modelling on single microporous pellet demonstrated.
