摘要: Adolescent cricket pace bowlers are prone to non-contact shoulder, low back and lower-limb injuries. Exercise-based injury prevention programmes (IPPs) effective for reducing injuries in athletes; however, a specific programme adolescent has not been published. This paper therefore seeks provide rationale the development of an exercise-based IPP bowlers. It also outlines design principles provides example exercise that can be implemented at community level. In addition, addresses other techniques concerned with prescription appropriate bowling loads modification poor biomechanics. Performing before training could reduce rates Eccentric strengthening exercises employed target posterior shoulder muscles, hip adductors hamstring muscles. The risk back, knee ankle reduced inclusion dynamic neuromuscular control trunk extensor endurance exercises. Other strategies need considered include biomechanics, such as counter-rotation lateral flexion. Coaches players should aim quantify load accurately coaches use this information prescribe individualised loads. Specifically, would benefit from avoiding both long periods acute when is excessively high. Future evidence needed determine effectiveness outlined paper. beneficial investigate whether biomechanics achievable non-elite level if measured manipulated within community-level population.
