摘要: Abstract The authors present their experience with intraoperative monitoring of cochlear nerve action potentials (AP) in 30 adult patients. Operative procedures were acoustic neuroma excision attempted hearing preservation and selective vestibular neurectomy patients incapacitating Meniere's disease serviceable (SRT less than 50 db, discrimination greater 60%). Loss AP is detected rapidly has been demonstrated after manipulation the coagulation small arteries on tumour capsule. Presence an at end procedure usually correlates postoperative hearing. appears to be a reliable means detecting potentially reversible changes function intraoperatively.
