摘要: Purpose: In the early days of online communities, researchers tended to view lurkers negatively and considered them illegitimate peripheral members. However, tide opinion about has gradually become more positive. To take a broad view, should be included in knowledge sharing context because while they may not share directly, are still stakeholders communities who benefit from shared. This study aims review literature perspective provide comprehensive understanding identify additional reasons behind lurking behavior. Design/methodology/approach: Previous studies that examined behavior were reviewed. Findings: A four-dimensional model is provided, which categorizes for into four domains: individual, social, organizational technological. Originality/value: The serves as roadmap future examining Lurkers redefined. De-lurking strategies suggested following model, but de-lurking recommended all circumstances. An increase active another option bring value communities.
