Diode-laser-pumped ultraviolet and infrared lasers for ablation and coagulation of soft tissue

摘要: Method and systems for eye surgery the treatment of presbyopia, ocular hypertension glaucoma other soft tissue surgeries are disclosed. System design parameters lasing crystals (Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, Er:YAG Er:YSGG), nonlinear (KTP, BBO, LBO), laser cavity configuration energy delivery means disclosed diode-laser-pumped lasers with output wavelength at UV (263 or 266 nm), green (527 523 mid-IR (2.78 2.94 microns). Dual function ablation coagulation is proposed by a mode control means. The preferred diode-laser includes about 0.75 to 0.98 microns power 15 40 W used in side-pumping generate IR having an per pulse 3 30 mJ, 0.1 1.5 operated free running (IR laser) pulsed (UV laser).
