摘要: Abstract The interaction between homocysteine (HCysSH) and Cu(II) leads to the formation of a yellow complex [CuI(HCysS-SCysH)2]Cl (1) after redox processes in Cu(II)–homocysteine system resulting dimerization ligand mononuclear Cu(I) with two dimers. structure was obtained by IR-LD spectral analysis solid amorphous sample oriented nematic liquid crystal medium. original technique for orientation developed here polarized IR spectra thus obtained, permit determination complexation sites coordination mode diamagnetic complexes. In (1), is coordinated through O atoms one COO− group each ligands metal ion sphere represents distorted tetrahedron.
