Linear-dichroic infrared spectral analysis of Cu(I)–homocysteine complex

摘要: Abstract The interaction between homocysteine (HCysSH) and Cu(II) leads to the formation of a yellow complex [CuI(HCysS-SCysH)2]Cl (1) after redox processes in Cu(II)–homocysteine system resulting dimerization ligand mononuclear Cu(I) with two dimers. structure was obtained by IR-LD spectral analysis solid amorphous sample oriented nematic liquid crystal medium. original technique for orientation developed here polarized IR spectra thus obtained, permit determination complexation sites coordination mode diamagnetic complexes.
