摘要: Abstract Although the flow and heat transfer process inside vortex tube at low operating pressure were studied intensively, little attention has been devoted to energy separation characteristic high pressure. In present work, a 3D numerical model developed investigate difference of characteristics between low-pressure high-pressure system. The working fluid is methane real gas applied for physical properties calculation. pressure, temperature velocity distribution are obtained compared. cold hot differences, coefficient performance evaluate effect inlet geometrical size on condition. It interesting find that much lower exit may be even than inlet. case same inlet-outlet ratio, larger lead higher but influence as well performance.
