摘要: The aim of this review was to highlight research that has focused on examining expressions peak oxygen uptake (VO2peak) in children and youth, with special reference allometric scaling. VO2peak is considered the highest VO2 during an increasing workload treadmill or bicycle ergometer test until volitional termination. We have reviewed scholarly works identified from PubMed, One Search, EBSCOhost Google Scholar examined absolute units (L·min(-1)), relative [body mass, fat-free mass (FFM)], [mass, height, lean body (LBM) LBM legs raised a power function] through July 2015. Often, objective measuring evaluate cardiorespiratory function fitness level. Since size (body height) frequently vary greatly expressing dimensionless often inappropriate for comparative explanatory purposes. Consequently, gained increased attention over past 2 decades. In our review, scaling most frequent variable employed, coefficients ranging approximately 0.30 1.0. wide variance probably due several factors, including LBM, sex, age, physical training, small sample size. summary, we recommend since skeletal muscle paramount human locomotion, expression best youth.
