Direct ionic liquid extractant injection for volatile chemical analysis – a gas chromatography sampling technique

摘要: A green sampling approach by direct injection of ionic liquid (IL) solvent containing a variety analytes using programmable temperature vaporisation (PTV) with gas chromatography (GC) is presented. The method was developed test mixtures n-alkanes, n-alcohols and polyaromatic compounds, whilst back extraction isolated compounds from the IL organic not required. In final method, 2 μL IL, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)amide analytes, diluted to different volumes (ranging 10 70%) then injected into system. Several PTV injector parameters were investigated ensure analyte volatilisation transfer GC column. Concentration calibration curves (10–150 μg mL−1 10–100 for n-alkanes n-alcohols, respectively) constructed, showed addition increased peak area each analyte, good precision, acceptable linearity correlation coefficient, r2 > 0.93. This successfully applied in analysis polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) mixture, mixture suitable operation injector. also eucalyptus leaf essential oil as sample single drop microextraction experiment.
